🙂 thank you! I went to a special exhibit for him back in November that displayed his whole life’s works, narrated by the letters he wrote to his brother. He considered himself a nobody, a “nonentity,” and he hoped at least to show what lies in the heart of such a person. A true tortured artist.

Yes, I have read several biographies and his Letters to Theo. I have 2 cheap prints on my wall 🙂 I can’t even imagine your wonderful experience of going to the special exhibit–must have been moving, and breathtaking.
